It uses the same FAQs and settings, so nothing is lost when you switch: activating Premium deactivates the free version. The free version is complete on its own and has no limits on the number of FAQs.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Privacy<\/h4>\n\n<p>The plugin makes no external request. Votes store a salted hash of the visitor's IP address (never the address itself), anonymised after 12 months by default. A suggested text for your privacy policy is added to Settings \u203a Privacy.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>In your dashboard go to Plugins \u203a Add New, search for \"FAQ optimized for AI\", then install and activate it. The plugin removes the technical obstacles (answers in the HTML, one address per answer, structured data that matches the page) and helps you write answers that are easy to quote.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"google%20stopped%20showing%20faq%20rich%20results.%20is%20the%20schema%20still%20useful%3F\"><h3>Google stopped showing FAQ rich results. Is the schema still useful?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Google removed FAQ rich results in May 2026, but the structured data still gives search engines and AI crawlers an unambiguous description of your questions and answers.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"will%20it%20conflict%20with%20yoast%20seo%2C%20rank%20math%20or%20my%20theme%3F\"><h3>Will it conflict with Yoast SEO, Rank Math or my theme?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The plugin outputs one FAQPage block per page and joins the Yoast SEO graph when Yoast is active. If another plugin already outputs the same FAQs as structured data, turn the schema off in FAQs \u203a Settings \u203a SEO &amp; GEO.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20need%20acf%20or%20another%20plugin%3F\"><h3>Does it need ACF or another plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Fields, post type, categories and settings are all included.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"which%20languages%20does%20it%20work%20in%3F\"><h3>Which languages does it work in?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Any single language: visitor texts follow the site language, with translations from translate.wordpress.org. Every visitor text can also be changed with the <code>faqoai_string<\/code> filter. Polylang and WPML are supported by the Premium version.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20change%20the%20faq%20address%3F\"><h3>Can I change the FAQ address?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes, in FAQs \u203a Settings \u203a General (for example <code>\/questions\/<\/code> instead of <code>\/faq\/<\/code>).
