            Velomize works locally by default. It does not require an account, transmit site data to an external optimization service, display frontend credits, or load third-party tracking resources.<\/p>\n\n

            Privacy<\/h3>\n\n

            Velomize does not create visitor accounts, set tracking cookies, or transmit data to the plugin author. Optional real-user diagnostics are disabled by default. When enabled, sampled performance measurements and technical page information are stored locally in the WordPress database. Administrators control the feature and can remove stored audit data by uninstalling the plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n

              Can Velomize break my layout?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

              Safe defaults avoid aggressive transformations. CSS\/JS minification, JavaScript defer, page cache, CDN rewriting and asset rules should still be tested privately because themes and plugins can have unique requirements. Velomize provides private preview mode, exclusions, revisions and an emergency bypass URL.<\/p><\/dd>\n

              Does it delete original images?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

              No. WebP and AVIF files are generated beside the original files. Original uploads remain available as fallbacks.<\/p><\/dd>\n

              Can I use it with another cache plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

              Do not enable two full-page caches or two asset-minification systems simultaneously. Velomize detects several common optimizers and warns about overlapping features. You may use only non-overlapping Velomize modules when another optimizer is active.<\/p><\/dd>\n

              Does it send data to an external service?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

              No external service is required. Settings, generated assets, audit results and optional real-user diagnostic samples remain in the WordPress installation. A CDN is contacted only if the administrator explicitly configures a CDN URL.<\/p><\/dd>\n

              What does the private site audit store?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

              When an administrator runs the private audit, Velomize stores the audited URL, timestamp, performance measurements, issue counts and limited element\/resource samples in the WordPress options table. Continuous real-user diagnostics are disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled.<\/p><\/dd>\n

              Is WebMCP required?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

              No. WebMCP mapping is experimental, disabled by default and applied only to form selectors explicitly entered by an administrator.<\/p><\/dd>\n

              Does smooth scrolling respect accessibility preferences?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

              Yes. It respects prefers-reduced-motion<\/code>, avoids editors, and supports exclusions for independently scrollable interfaces such as dialogs and chat widgets.<\/p><\/dd>\n

              How do I recover from a configuration problem?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

              Open the emergency safe-mode URL from Velomize > Advanced, clear every cache, disable the latest Advanced option, and restore a previous settings revision if required.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
