## Description

**GutSlider is an all-in-one slider and carousel plugin for the WordPress block 
editor (Gutenberg).** It adds a set of native slider blocks so you can build an 
image slider, content slider, post carousel, video carousel, testimonial slider,
logo carousel or a before-after comparison slider directly on the page – no shortcodes,
no page builder, no code.

Every block is built with native Gutenberg components, so the editing experience
feels like WordPress itself. Drag and drop your content, adjust the settings in 
the sidebar, and see the result live in the editor.

**Fast by design.** GutSlider only loads its scripts and styles on pages where a
slider block is actually used, generates a single minified CSS file per page instead
of inline `<style>` tags, and ships without jQuery. Sliding is powered by Swiper
JS for smooth, hardware-accelerated transitions.

the font stylesheet is requested from `https://fonts.googleapis.com` and the font
files from `https://fonts.gstatic.com` on the pages where that block appears. Visitors’

## Installation

**From your WordPress dashboard**

 1. Go to _Plugins > Add New_ and search for **GutSlider**.
 2. Click _Install Now_, then _Activate_.

**Manual installation**

 1. Upload the `slider-blocks` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
 2. Activate the plugin through the _Plugins_ screen in WordPress.

**Getting started**

 1. Edit any post or page, click the block inserter (+) and open the **GutSlider Blocks**
    category.
 2. Add the slider or carousel block you need and configure it from the sidebar.
 3. Visit _GutSlider_ in the admin menu to enable or disable individual blocks.

## FAQ

### Is GutSlider free?

Yes. All the blocks listed under “Free Slider and Carousel Blocks” are free forever.
GutSlider Pro is an optional upgrade that adds extra blocks and features.

### Do I need to know how to code?

No. Every slider is built visually in the block editor with drag-and-drop content
and sidebar settings.

### Are the sliders responsive?

Yes. Every slider and carousel is fully responsive, and most settings have separate
Desktop, Tablet and Mobile values.

### Will it slow down my site?

No. GutSlider only loads its scripts and styles on pages where a slider block is
used, writes a single minified CSS file per page, and does not use jQuery.

### Does GutSlider work with any theme?

Yes. It works with both block themes and classic themes, and has been tested with
the most popular WordPress themes.

### Does it work in the Site Editor and with block patterns?

Yes. The blocks work in posts, pages, templates, template parts and reusable patterns.

### Which slider library does GutSlider use?

Swiper JS – a modern, touch-friendly slider library. No jQuery is required.

### Can I create a slider from my blog posts or products?

Yes. The free Blog Post block builds a slider or carousel from your posts. WooCommerce
product and product category carousels are available in GutSlider Pro.

### I updated the plugin and now I see a block error. What should I do?

Open the post or page in the editor and click **Attempt Block Recovery**, then update
the post. This resolves block validation notices left over from a markup change.

### How do I report a bug or request a feature?

I was disappointed with every slider (and carousel) I used until I tried GutSlider.
The plugin absolutely blew me away with all of its advanced customization features
and options. Finally there truly is an ‘all-in-one’ block slider! Simply, the best.

The slider does a good job. It’s one of those plugins askign all the time for optin
into something. This plugin has too many notifications for a productive or client
website. I tested it and will remove it due to one reason: notifications from the
gutslider plugin.
